“If someone gave you $86,400/day and at the end of the day whatever you don’t spend will disappear. You cannot save it in an account, you can only spend/invest it. What will you do with it? The answer is pretty obvious, you will use all of it or else it will go to waste. Well there is 86,400 seconds in one day, so why isn’t the situation the same?”
This is a quote from an excellent guest speaker during a professional event held by the Pi Pledge Class. Why would you dissipate your time with futile activities? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of “enjoying the little things.” It is when it gets excessive, that’s when you’re in trouble. Right now, I feel like I am not spending all of my $86,400—I would say I am using around $15,000. However, I feel like those $15,000 are invested in the right areas. Hopefully I can see results from them soon, but for now there is only one thing to do: Constantly learn, continually benefit your future.
